SBG was formed in ___to evaluate tin exploration and development targets in the Erzgebirge Region of Saxony Germany. The Erzgebirge Region has a long history of mining for silver and tin dating back to the twelfth century. The company was initially focused on the evaluation of historical tin exploration and metallurgical data related to the Tellerhaeuser and Breitenbrunn deposits, near Schwarzenberg. This region is a proven mining province, with excellent existing infrastructure and a local workforce with extensive mine operating experience.
* Image is currently focused on the development of its 100%-owned, flagship Tellerhaeuser polymetallic project. The Tellerhaeuser resources were extensively developed and explored by SDAG Wismut in the 1970’s and 1980’s which has significantly reduced the costs for both mine development and exploration drilling.
An initial feasibility study is currently in progress and is due to be completed in Q32018. The work is focused on upgrading the mineral resources to JORC 2014(?) standards, completing pilot plant processing testwork on a representative ore sample and mine design and costing incorporating local favourable costs for labour, mining services, fuel, power and foreign exchange rates.
* Saxore plans to build a modern mining and processing operation, incorporating the latest developments in the use of electric mining equipment, advanced processing techniques and high levels of automation.
* The company is committed to continuing its steady advancement towards production and believes the world class Tellerhaeuser assets will allow for a relatively rapid and low capital cost path to production.
